Lily leaf, frog and bud
The Arum Frog (Hyperolius horstockii) is a small, arboreal frog native to the coastal forests of South Africa. These nocturnal amphibians primarily feed on small insects and are often found near ponds or streams. Their distinctive call adds to the nocturnal symphony of the forest or garden. This sculpture was inspired by the sweet frog we spotted in my parent’s garden.
This is a bronze sculpture of an arum frog on a lily leaf.
